EVENT INFORMATION

How does the LGMV work?
The Lame Game Marathon is a charity videogame marathon where we broadcast ourselves playing the worst videogames ever made for 24 hours straight. The entire marathon is streamed online where viewers can watch and interact with the marathon via chat and social media.

What time does the marathon begin?
The marathon begins at Noon (AEDT / UTC+11) on October 24 and runs until Noon the next day.

Where can we see the LGMV?
The Lame Game Marathon V can be viewed live from our website (www.lamegamemarathon.com) or via our Twitch channel (www.twitch.tv/lamegamemarathon)

Who are we raising funds for?
All donations will be going to UNICEF Australia to support the amazing work they do to improve the lives of children in need locally and abroad.

What does UNICEF do?
UNICEF use their funds to provide underprivileged children across the globe with health services, education, vaccinations, access to clean water as well as providing emergency response in crisis-affected areas.

How can I donate?
Donations can be online made via our EveryDayHero account. Viewers are welcome to donate as much as they like in the lead up to or on the day of the marathon. Every little bit helps!

I don’t have a credit card/debit card, is there another way I can donate?
As well as credit/debit card, donations through EveryDayHero can be made by Cash, Cheque, BPAY or PayPal.

What games are you playing?
We are putting together our 2015 lame games list at this very moment, we will be announcing our full games list closer to the event.

How much of my donation going to UNICEF?
Our donations are currently processed through EveryDayHero, which means they apply a small 6.5% administration fee to each gross donation made to UNICEF.

Additional to this administration fee, a payment-processing fee is also deducted from the gross donation with the fee varying dependent of the payment type (VISA/Mastercard/AMEX, PayPal, BPAY and Australia Post). For a detailed breakdown of the fees included, please view EveryDayHero's terms and conditions at https://everydayhero.com/au/terms.

What does UNICEF Australia do with my donation?
UNICEF Australia allocate their raised funds* in the following ways:

- 78% Programs Expenditure
- 16% Fundraising Costs
- 5% Accountability and Administration
- 1% Reserves

(*Based on 2013 donation statistics)
